Logitech K750 Solar Keyboard

The Logitech K750 is the first keyboard in the world to be powered by the sun. The K750 uses recyclable plastic and it has a price tag of $80. This keyboard comes with small solar panels mounted on it at the top, plus a luxmeter which indicates how the charging process is going. The Logitech K750 can be charged both in the sun and under a regular bulb. One extra point about it is that the keyboard is wireless.

Logitech Wireless Combo MK520 Keyboard Plus Mouse

The Logitech Wireless Combo MK520 comes with both keyboard and mouse, plus a nice feature which gives you one touch media controls. It has a concave design, edges that are softly rounded and the keys that are Logitech Incurve low profile, which makes it easy for your fingers to go from a key to another. They say that the battery life is up to 3 years, but for heavy users I imagine it would be smaller.


The mouse of the MK520 combo has a design that is ambidextrous and comes with side grips made out of soft rubber. The battery life of the mouse is one year and the mouse has a high performance laser.

The receiver of the keyboard and mouse can stay in the USB port while you’re travelling so you don’t have to worry about breaking it. The range at which you can use them is 10 meters.

The Luxeed U5 keyboard comes with 430 LEDs and it’s an updated model, as it’s not the first illuminated keyboard from this company. The nice thing about this keyboard is that each of the keys can be illuminated according to your wishes. You can easily customize this keyboard and you can do it without the help from any software. With a price tag of $218 it’s not cheap though.

Jorno iPhone Compact & Foldable Keyboard

Whenever you’re on the move and you need a bigger keyboard to quickly type text on your iPhone or iPad, you need a compact keyboard that connects to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth. The Cervantes Jorno foldable and compact keyboard does just that, but it can be used with any other device that has Bluetooth drivers for it. The keyboard takes as little space as 3.5”x3.5”x0.9” when it’s folded.

When you open the keyboard at its full size, it has a small stand which allows you to keep it at an angle that is comfortable for you. They plan to launch the Cervantes Jorno in 2011 and the price will be $99. Right now you can pre-order it for $79 from the Jorno store.
